Tine Hansen-Turton is Executive
Director of the Convenient Care Association
(CCA), which mission is to strengthen and advance the Convenient Care
model of health care. Convenient Care Clinics (CCCs), located in retail
outlets with accessible pharmacy services, provide routine, non-emergency
high quality and accessible services to walk-in patients at affordable
prices seven days a week. Tine also serves as VP for Philadelphia Health
Management Corporation, which provides executive management and administrative
support for the CCA. Tine is the first director of the CCA and has extensive
experience in growing an association from infancy to national and international
magnitude.
For the past decade Tine has worked in the health care field and led
a non-profit corporation supporting community-based health care. Tine
assists organizations in developing and setting up health centers; provides
technical assistance in the areas of fundraising and program development,
policy development, health education, advocacy, program planning and
health center management; conducted health policy research and outcome
evaluation; establishing quality care indicators for nurse practitioner
care; testifies at local, state and national executive and legislative
branch levels; gives regular public health testimonies; and provides
marketing and public relations.
Tine publishes in many peer-review professional journals and is a regular
presenter at local, state and national health care conferences. She is
Co-Author of “Community and Nurse-Managed Health Centers: Getting
them Started and Keeping them Going,” published by Springer Publications,
and an American Journal of Nursing Book of the Year Award winner. She
is also co-author of “Conversations with Leaders,” published
by Sigma Theta Tau International. She is a recent Eisenhower Fellow and
received the 2005 Philadelphia Business Journal Leadership Award.
Tine received her BA from Slippery Rock University, a Master’s
in Government Administration from University of Pennsylvania Fels Institute,
and a Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law.

As Director for Product Management, Amrita John is responsible for the
management of CIGNA HealthCare's lead open access product suite, the
development and expansion of CIGNA's Convenience Care network as well
as other product solutions focused on improving member health care access
and unit costs. Amrita joined CIGNA in 2001 and has held a number of
positions at CIGNA, including roles in Healthcare Finance and National
Contracting. Before joining CIGNA, Amrita was a Senior Provider Contractor
at ConnectiCare Inc & Affiliates and a Practice Manager at a Dental
group.
Amrita earned a Bachelor’s degree from University of Bombay, a
Masters of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh’s
Joseph M. Katz School of Business and a Business Certificate with a Health
Management concentration from the University of Connecticut. She has
received Six Sigma (Yellow Belt) certification.

Dr. Steve Cooley is a healthcare executive with 25 years of experience
in C-level healthcare management with an emphasis on multi-state, multi-site,
entrepreneurial/start-up opportunities. After completing his residency
training and obtaining board certification in Emergency Medicine, Dr.
Cooley began his business career with Spectrum Healthcare, a subsidiary
of ARAMark. While there he served as Executive VP/General Manager and
began two de-novo start-ups, SYNERGON and Government Healthcare Services,
which provided emergency and ambulatory care services to over 1,000,000
patients annually in 30 locations in 15 states. Dr. Cooley then served
as Executive VP of Operations for EmCare, a company that provided emergency
and ambulatory care services to over 3,000,000 patients annually in 140
locations in 30 states. Following a successful IPO and rapid growth and
expansion, Dr. Cooley accepted a position as CEO of USCardioVascular,
a cardiovascular start-up focused on outpatient diagnostic facility development.
Dr. Cooley currently serves as CEO of SmartCare, a Dallas-based venture
that builds, staffs, and develops convenience care clinics in multiple
markets in the U.S.
