About our Speakers

As COO and Publisher of Information Strategies, Inc., Donald Mazzella has been instrumental in creating an information and marketing juggernaut that serves 4+ million readers each month. With reporting experience at a number of national publications, Mazzella holds an MBA from New York University as well as MA and BA degrees from that institution.

Larry Deegan is currently Vice President of Business Development for American Chartered Bank’s successful HSA program. American Chartered Bank, a $3.0 billion commercial bank, serves as custodian for over 1100 employer groups comprised of 23,000 account holders in the Chicago Metropolitan Area and throughout the country. Larry has participated in over 300 group healthcare enrollment meetings over the last 4 years and has spoken locally and nationally about Consumer Directed Health Plan implementation. American Chartered Bank’s program has been recognized by the Wall Street Journal, HSA Finder and Morningstar for outstanding service and being a top value provider.

Larry Deegan is a graduate of DePaul University with a B.S. in Finance. He currently serves as communication chair for the DuPage County Chapter of the National Association of Health Insurance Underwriters. He received a Chartered Benefit Consultant designation from the National Association of Alternative Benfit Consultants.

Mr. Deegan, his wife and 3 children live in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago.
