When designing wellness programs, it seems that more and more health plans and employers are including health coaching as a component. Health coaches ensure that employees/members are using other elements of a wellness program effectively; in fact, the person to person interaction that a health coach provides can help detect and eliminate unhealthy behaviors that specific wellness tools alone (like health risk assessments and gym membership reimbursements) can miss. But what should an employer look for when choosing a health coach program; and how should a health plan go about integrating health coaching into its wellness program(s)?
Join us at our April webinar, titled Coaching Your Way to "Healthy": Keys to Implementing, Integrating and Utilizing Health Coaches, where Michael Samuelson from The Health & Wellness Institute will provide an overview of how health coaching programs work as well as specific case studies detailing implementation strategies as well as the health benefits and financial savings health coaching components can yield.
