eHEALTH RAISES $61 MILLION IN IPO
Online insurance broker eHealth (Mountain View, CA) raised net proceeds of $61 million after underwriters’ commissions and expenses in an initial offering of 5 million share of common stock at $14 per share.

PEROT TAKES $12 MMHIT ON BCBS-RI PACT
Perot Systems Corp. (Plano, TX) has agreed to give back $12 million to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island (Providence) over four years after the health plan changed course on a new claims management system being installed.

TRIZETTO TO BUY PLAN DATA MANAGEMENT
Trizetto Group (Newport Beach, CA) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Plan Data Management (New York), which provides software to help payers manage revenues from Medicare and Medicaid.

HEALTHAXIS REPORTS $317,000 3Q06 NET
HealthAxis (Irving, TX) reported third-quarter 2006 net income of $317,000 on revenues of $4.354 million, compared to a net loss of $511,000 on revenues of $3.843 million in the same period a year earlier. Through nine months, net loss was $411,000 on revenues of $12.385 million.

CERNER 3Q06 NET IS UP 0.6%, REVENUES RISE 17%
Cerner Corp. (Kansas City, MO) reported third-quarter net income of $26.728 million, up less than 1% from the same period a year earlier, on revenues of $345.452 million, up 17%.

eHEALTH, INFO SERVICES STOCKS RISE 2% IN 2 WEEKS
eHealth and information services stocks rose 2% in the two weeks ended Oct. 27, according to a tally of 19 issues tracked by EHI. Market cap fell 1% to $15.5 billion.
